We hope your move has been a good one. Moving can be a lot of fun but it sometimes presents its own set of challenges. How to get to know people?
What's around in this new community?
Some days this can really be messy. Some days really messy. Wouldn’t it be great to find the perfect place to get away from all the messiness?
Yet there is no perfect place… There's never even been a perfect church - anytime, anywhere, and certainly not us. You probably already knew that. But it still feels good to be honest about it.
At The Upper Room we have found strength and hope by navigating thought the messiness of life by together trying to follow what Jesus said and did.
We're asking the same questions as many of you. We’re searching for the same answers; struggling with the same issues. We live in the same community and deal with the same problems. We're concerned about our futures and our finances, our families and our friends...the stuff of everyday life.
Our desire is to make the Kingdom of God tangible. We believe that people should be able to touch it, taste it, see it, and sense it. We want to live the "Good News" wherever it is we find ourselves throughout the week.
So before you write church off completely, give The Upper Room a chance to change your mind.
We invite you to join us as we gather this Sunday!
